Domestic rice prices today
Rice prices in the Mekong Delta region remained unchanged at the start of trading on the morning of January 26, 2024.
According to the latest update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the price of IR 504 rice is at 9,000 – 9,200 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice remains around 9,600 – 9,800 VND/kg; OM 18 at 9,600 – 9,800 VND/kg; OM 5451 at 9,000 - 9,400 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 remains stable at 9,700 – 9,800 VND/kg; and Japanese rice fluctuates from 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg.
At rice warehouses in An Cu and Cai Be ( Tien Giang province ), the price of raw rice OM 18 and Dai Thom 8 fluctuates around 14,100 – 14,200 VND/kg; ST 24 is at 18,500 – 18,700 VND/kg; and the price of raw rice OM 5451 ranges from 13,700 – 13,800 VND/kg.

In Sa Dec (Dong Thap province), fragrant rice is being sold at prices ranging from 13,600 to 13,800 VND/kg; while high-quality fragrant rice is priced at 13,900 to 14,000 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice at 13,500 to 13,700 VND/kg; IR 504 rice is selling at 12,700 to 12,900 VND/kg; ST 24 rice fluctuates around 18,000 to 18,300 VND/kg; and ST 21 is at 17,300 to 17,500 VND/kg.
Today's export rice prices
In the rice export market, Vietnamese rice prices continue to remain stable. According to data from the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the price of 25% broken rice is at 617 USD/ton; and 5% broken rice is at 652 USD/ton.
