Today's coffee price on December 13, 2024, at 3:00 AM on the world market, was updated on the Vietnam Commodity Exchange (MXV) (world coffee prices are continuously updated by MXV, matching those of exchanges worldwide; it is the only channel in Vietnam that continuously updates prices linked to exchanges around the world).
Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe exchange (London exchange) opens at 4:00 PM and closes at 12:30 AM (the next day), Vietnam time. Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US exchange (New York exchange) opens at 4:15 PM and closes at 1:30 AM (the next day), Vietnam time. Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange opens from 7:00 PM to 2:35 AM (the next day), Vietnam time.

Today's online coffee prices from the three main coffee futures exchanges, ICE Futures Europe, ICE Futures US, and B3 Brazil, are continuously updated by Y5 Cafe throughout the trading hours of the exchanges, as follows:

At the close of trading, Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange at 3:20 AM on December 13, 2024, saw a sharp increase after a previous session's deep decline of 33-55 USD/ton, fluctuating between 5019 and 5194 USD/ton. Specifically, the January 2025 delivery contract was 5194 USD/ton (up 33 USD/ton); the March 2025 delivery contract was 5152 USD/ton (up 51 USD/ton); the May 2025 delivery contract was 5095 USD/ton (up 53 USD/ton); and the July 2025 delivery contract was 5019 USD/ton (up 55 USD/ton).

Similarly, Arabica coffee prices on the New York exchange on the morning of December 13, 2024, also increased across the board, but not significantly compared to the previous trading contract, with increases ranging from 1.05 to 1.55 cents/lb, fluctuating between 307.60 and 321.25 cents/lb. Specifically, the March 2025 delivery contract was 321.25 cents/lb (up 1.05 cents/lb); the May 2025 delivery contract was 319.00 cents/lb (up 1.20 cents/lb); the July 2025 delivery contract was 314.45 cents/lb (up 1.40 cents/lb); and the September 2025 delivery contract was 307.60 cents/lb (up 1.55 cents/lb).

At the close of trading on the morning of December 13, 2024, Brazilian Arabica coffee prices showed mixed increases and decreases depending on the contract period, with increases ranging from 1.85 to 4 USD/ton (for the December 2024, May 2025, and July 2025 contracts). Specifically, the December 2024 contract was 402.00 USD/ton (up 4 USD/ton); the May 2025 contract was 397.75 USD/ton (up 1.60 USD/ton); and the July 2025 contract was 391.60 USD/ton (up 1.85 USD/ton). The March 2025 contract, however, was 404.50 USD/ton (down 4.05 USD/ton).

Domestic coffee prices, updated at 4:00 AM on December 13, 2024, remain unchanged from the previous day. The current average coffee purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 123,100 VND/kg.
Coffee purchase prices in Dak Lak province are at 123,000 VND/kg; in Lam Dong province at 122,000 VND/kg; in Gia Lai province at 123,000 VND/kg; and in Dak Nong province, the highest price among the Central Highlands provinces is 123,200 VND/kg.

According to statistics, Vietnam's coffee export prices have been continuously increasing since the beginning of the year. Specifically, in January 2024, the export price of coffee was just over $3,000 per ton, but by October 2024, this figure had jumped to $5,855 per ton. This shows that in just 10 months, the price of coffee has increased by more than 90%.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the average export price of coffee in the first 11 months of 2024 is estimated at US$4,037 per ton, an increase of 56.9% compared to the same period in 2023.
Although export volume in the first 11 months of 2024 reached nearly 1.2 million tons, a decrease of 15.4% compared to the previous year, export value increased by 32.8%, reaching US$4.84 billion. Germany, Italy, and Spain are currently the three largest coffee consuming markets for Vietnam. Notably, coffee exports have grown in all markets among the top 15 export markets, with the strongest growth seen in Malaysia and the Philippines, where exports doubled.
Entering the 2024-2025 coffee crop year, Vietnam has achieved remarkable success from the 2023-2024 crop year. Although coffee export volume decreased by over 12%, reaching only 1.46 million tons, export value increased by over 33%, reaching US$5.43 billion. This is the highest export value in a single coffee crop year ever recorded and the first time coffee exports have exceeded US$5 billion in a single crop year.
