Coffee prices rise again, high USD hinders recovery, short-term supply remains low
According to a new report from the USDA, world coffee production in the 2023-2024 crop year is forecast to increase by 4.3 million bags (60 kg/bag), equivalent to 2.5% compared to the previous crop year, to 174.3 million bags. Of which, higher production in Brazil and Vietnam is expected to offset the decline in Indonesia.
