Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of March 8, 2025

News of possible rains in Brazil’s major growing regions has triggered a wave of liquidation of coffee futures contracts, pushing prices lower. Similarly, in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, the largest coffee-growing region, forecasts are also calling for rain every day next week. The positive weather has eased concerns about global coffee supplies, which had been pushed up by a prolonged drought.

The coffee market remains volatile and growth prospects are uncertain due to concerns about the impact of tariffs on inflation and the US economy. This has caused the US dollar to fall, with the DXY index at one point hitting 104.29 - its lowest level since November 8.

Mr. Thai Nhu Hiep - Vice President of Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA), Chairman of the Board of Members, Director of Vinh Hiep Company Limited said that Robusta and Arabica coffee prices have been mixed in the past few days; Arabica reached its highest level in the past two weeks.

The recent sharp rise in coffee prices has also caused many difficulties for traders, especially those who have not received coffee from farmers according to contracts signed many months ago, when prices were still low. In the current context of unpredictable price fluctuations, risk management has become extremely important for all parties involved in the coffee market.
