Coffee prices continue to rise today

The sharp increase in coffee prices after Easter caused many surprises when forecast indicators showed the opposite.

Notably, information about Brazil's upcoming Robusta harvest is expected to be abundant, while Vietnam's supply is said to remain abundant.

Customs data shows that in the first three months of 2025, Vietnam exported 8,070 tons of coffee to Thailand, worth 62.6 million USD, down 30.7% in volume but up 61.4% in value compared to the same period in 2024.

The average export price during this period was 7,765 USD/ton, an increase of 132.9% over the same period last year. In addition to the increase in coffee prices, Thailand also increased its imports of Arabica and processed coffee, resulting in high unit prices.
