Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of April 23, 2025

Experts say the downward trend in world coffee prices is due to the sell-off in the stock market, which has increased risk aversion in asset markets, putting pressure on commodity prices, including coffee.

Increased supplies also weighed on prices, with ICE-monitored arabica stocks rising to a five-week high of 801,549 bags on Monday. Robusta stocks also rose to a one-week high of 4,272 lots last Thursday.

In addition, challenges from record high coffee futures prices, trade tariffs, and logistics disruptions due to escalating geopolitical and economic tensions could also dampen the optimism from previous forecasts.

Globally, many in the industry are predicting further price volatility in the near term. The fundamental backdrop remains tense, and volatility in supply, demand, and the impact of speculative activity in the futures market are likely to persist in the short to medium term, at least until the second half of 2025.

Faced with climate change and increasingly stringent international market requirements, many Vietnamese farmers and businesses are turning to organic coffee cultivation as a sustainable development strategy. According to the latest report from the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA), the average Robusta export price in the first half of April 2025 reached a record high of 5,415 USD/ton.
