Domestic coffee price list updated at 4:30 a.m. on March 2, 2025

Coffee prices continued to fall as the Brazilian real fell to a one-month low against the US dollar, according to experts. The weakening real led to liquidation of coffee futures contracts, sending coffee prices to a one-month low.

In addition, the continuous decline in coffee prices last week was also influenced by other factors. First, abundant supply from Brazil and Vietnam continued to put pressure on prices. In addition, consumption demand showed signs of slowing down, causing transactions to become quiet.

Data from ICE shows that Arabica coffee inventories are rising, which is causing investment funds to limit purchases. Meanwhile, the Robusta market is also under great pressure as exporters sell heavily on concerns that prices may fall further.

Weather conditions in major growing regions have not had a significant impact on supply. Rainfall in Minas Gerais (Brazil) was below historical average, but not enough to affect the upcoming crop. Therefore, there is no factor supporting coffee prices to rise again in the short term.

According to the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association, in the first 15 days of February 2025, Vietnam exported 77,692 tons of green coffee, reaching 417.69 million USD. Compared to the same period last year, the export volume increased by 34%, but the value increased sharply by 133.3%. This reflects the trend of high world coffee prices.
