In particular, organizations and individuals at the school confirmed that Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh integrated teaching career education for grades 11 and 12 into the weekly flag salute period for 15-20 minutes.
The principal of Phu Hung High School (Cai Nuoc District, Ca Mau) was recommended to withdraw 90 million VND in allowances he had wrongly received.

Specifically, in the school's annual labor assignment records, Mr. Thanh was assigned to teach career guidance for grades 11 and 12 in semesters 1 and 2, 5.75 periods/week for the 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023 school years; and 4 periods/week for the 2019-2020 school year. However, the timetable and teaching logbook for grades 11 and 12 do not show any career guidance lessons.
Through verification, the Inspectorate of the Department of Education and Training stated that from the 2019-2020 school year to the 2022-2023 school year, Mr. Thanh's teaching of vocational education did not ensure the organization of the subject, and the records proving the teaching time did not have a basis to determine that he had taught 2 periods/week. Therefore, according to regulations, Mr. Thanh was not entitled to a teaching allowance.
Directed to collect electricity bill of more than 100 million VND off the books
The conclusion also confirmed that from January 2019 to June 2023, Mr. Thanh violated regulations on electricity management and use, causing losses of hundreds of millions of dong.
Working with the inspector, Mr. Thanh confirmed that the school's public housing and canteen had been connected to the school's electricity meter. However, the public housing and canteen both had electricity meters installed to monitor the electricity usage of each unit.
Every month, Mr. Thanh assigned a teacher at the official residence to collect electricity bills at the official residence and canteen at a unit price of 1,800 VND/kWh, then submit it to the school treasurer.
However, when paying the monthly electricity bill, Phu Hung High School also pays the electricity bill for the public housing area and the canteen from the budget allocated to the unit.
At the time of verification, this amount was kept by the treasurer in the school's safe, and had not been entered into the accounting books as required by regulations, which is over 100 million VND. Recover the amount of money the principal wrongly received
The Inspector of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province proposed to recover the preferential allowance from the 2019-2020 school year to the 2022-2023 school year that Mr. Thanh received, which is 90 million VND. At the same time, deposit more than 100 million VND in electricity bills into a bank deposit account to proceed with refunding the budget according to regulations.
