Mr. Doumbouya is in China to attend the 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit.
Noting that Guinea was the first sub-Saharan African country to establish diplomatic relations with China, Xi said the two countries will celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral ties next month.
China is willing to cultivate and develop its traditional friendship with Guinea, and the two sides continue to firmly support each other on issues related to each other's core interests and major concerns, Xi added.
According to Xi Jinping, China will strengthen cooperation with Guinea in areas such as infrastructure construction, resource exploitation, rural construction, poverty alleviation, medical care and health, and pledge that China will help Guinea turn its rich resources into a driving force for development.
