Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Director of Lao - Viet International Port Joint Stock Company said: "As soon as receiving instructions from all levels on organizing the opening ceremony on a national scale, the company quickly established the opening ceremony organizing committee and assigned specific tasks to members for timely and effective implementation. We have arranged the premises to ensure that the event organizing unit can install the stage and auxiliary functional buildings, parking lot; fully prepare equipment and tools to welcome ships to the port to pick up goods at the opening ceremony...".



H20 Art and Advertising Company Limited is the event organizer chosen to be in charge of organizing the opening ceremony. At this time, the company is mobilizing maximum manpower to set up the stage, gate and auxiliary areas.
Mr. Van Viet Hung - Director of H20 Art and Advertising Company Limited said: “The time from now to the opening ceremony is quite urgent, so after agreeing on the adjustment contents from the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, Laos and the investor, the company has urgently deployed the work to complete the items on time. The opening ceremony of Terminal No. 3, Laos - Vietnam International Port is a meaningful event, demonstrating the deep friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. Therefore, Laos is urgently coordinating with Vietnam to prepare for this important event to take place successfully.
Mr. Bun My Malavong - Deputy General Director of Lao - Asia Telecommunication Company, Deputy Director of Lao - Viet International Port Joint Stock Company said: "Lao - Viet International Port is a symbol of the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos. To prepare well for the upcoming opening of Terminal 3, we are focusing on human resources to coordinate with the Vietnamese side to review the final stages before the opening ceremony...".
The operation of Terminal No. 3 of the Lao-Viet International Port not only marks a new development step of the Lao-Viet International Port Joint Stock Company but also demonstrates the in-depth, practical and effective implementation of the commitments between the Governments of Vietnam and Laos on Investment Cooperation in the Development of Terminals No. 1, 2 and 3 of Vung Ang Port, helping Laos continue to open up to international integration, facilitate the import and export of goods by sea, and further highlight the connection and economic cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
Terminal No. 3, Lao-Viet International Port is capable of receiving ships with a tonnage of up to 45,000 DWT, with a design capacity of over 2 million tons/year, contributing to ensuring infrastructure for the socio-economic development of the region, of Vietnam and Laos, meeting the increasing demand for cargo transportation. At the same time, it increases the attractiveness index in attracting investment into the region and creates a premise for increasingly better service in import and export, transit cargo transportation, trade, and cooperation with Laos and the Northeast region of Thailand.
