Meeting to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification

On April 19, the Liaison Committee of Veterans Against the US in Ha Giang City held a meeting to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Overview of the meeting

The Ha Giang City Anti-American Veterans Liaison Committee was established in 2002 and currently has 55 members. At the meeting, delegates reviewed the heroic tradition and the glorious victory of the army and people in the resistance war against the US to save the country.

During the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign, many members of the Ha Giang City Veterans Liaison Committee against the US directly participated in decisive battles, contributing to the historic victory of liberating the South and unifying the country. After completing their glorious mission and returning to their localities, despite their advanced age, the members still continue to contribute; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements; play exemplary roles at the grassroots level, always care for and encourage each other to develop the economy and reduce poverty. In the coming time, the Liaison Committee will continue to encourage members to promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, actively respond to campaigns launched by the Party, State and localities. Enthusiastically participate in the emulation movement of exemplary veterans. Contribute to educating the tradition of patriotism and revolution for the younger generation to follow./.
