Meeting with the "Return to the Source" Delegation of Son La Province

On the afternoon of March 24, at the National Assembly House, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong chaired a meeting with the delegation participating in the "Returning to the Source" Program of Son La province. Attending the program were leaders of the Ethnic Council, Committees of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Office. Son La province had former leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of all terms; delegates, former leaders of the Provincial National Assembly delegation; representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Council Committees of the XV term; representatives of the leaders of departments, branches, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province and the Standing Committees of the Provincial People's Councils of the districts.

At the meeting, Comrade Hoang Thi Doi, Member of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, briefly reported on the socio-economic development, national defense and security, Party building work, and consolidation of the province's political system in 2024, and affirmed that the achievements of Son La province were due to the attention and close direction of the Central Party Committee, the National Assembly, the Government, the support of ministries, departments and central branches and were the result of many years of efforts of the entire political system, the support of the people of all ethnic groups in Son La province; at the same time, there were active contributions from leaders, former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, National Assembly Delegation, departments, branches of the province, districts, cities and towns.

Comrade Hoang Thi Doi also said: In the coming time, Son La province will continue to effectively implement the policies of the Party, the National Assembly, and the Government in socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, building the government, especially the policy of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus. Son La province hopes to continue to receive the attention, support and assistance of the National Assembly leaders and the National Assembly's agencies to support resources and guide the province to effectively implement the province's key tasks.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong expressed his joy when meeting with the National Assembly deputies of Son La province through the periods. The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly said: After nearly 80 years, the National Assembly of all terms has continuously grown, innovated and improved its organization and working methods, increasingly improving the effectiveness and efficiency of its operations, contributing to the cause of building and perfecting the socialist rule-of-law state.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested that National Assembly deputies, People's Council deputies of all periods, and former leaders at all levels actively study and contribute opinions to the documents of Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress; prepare well for the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; Do a good job of propaganda work, creating consensus among the people in the revolution to arrange and streamline the state administrative apparatus nationwide that is being implemented.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly believes that with solidarity and high responsibility, you will continue to promote the achieved results, actively participate in contributing to the activities of the National Assembly, compete to achieve many practical achievements towards the 80th anniversary of the National Assembly of Vietnam; and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

Immediately after the working program, the Son La Provincial Delegation visited the National Assembly.
