Meeting with the delegation of Ninh Binh province attending the 8th Congress of Vietnam Farmers' Union

On the afternoon of December 19, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Union held a meeting with the delegation attending the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term 2023-2028.

Attending and directing were comrade Do Viet Anh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission.

The 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union for the 2023-2028 term is an important political event for the peasant class and the Vietnam Farmers' Union. The Congress will take place over 3 days, from December 25-27 in Hanoi, with the participation of 1,000 delegates representing more than 10 million cadres and farmer members nationwide. The theme of the Congress is "Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Cooperation - Development".

Attending the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term 2023-2028, the delegation of Ninh Binh province has 16 delegates (14 official delegates, 2 alternate delegates). The delegation of the province was suggested to discuss the content "The Farmers' Union supports the construction and development of a chain of safe agricultural product stores associated with a point of sale model to limit plastic bags and single-use plastic products, protecting the environment"; participating in the exhibition of images and displaying agricultural products at the Congress.

Comrade Do Viet Anh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, gave a speech at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Do Viet Anh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, congratulated the comrades who were elected to attend the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term 2023-2028. Emphasizing that this is an honor, pride and also a very heavy responsibility for each delegate, he asked the delegates to promote the spirit of solidarity, discipline, strictly comply with the regulations and rules of the Congress, and actively contribute opinions to the reports presented at the Congress.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission suggested that delegates actively exchange and introduce achievements in socio-economic development as well as scenic spots of Ninh Binh province... At the same time, actively exchange and share experiences with delegates from other localities.

Delegates also need to absorb the spirit of the Congress to thoroughly understand the members and farmers of the province; promptly advise the provincial leaders to direct the good implementation of the Association's work and the farmers' movement of the province in the coming time.

He believes that the provincial delegation will successfully complete its tasks, contributing to the success of the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term 2023-2028.
