Meeting with retired cadres on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the first issue of Cao Bang Newspaper (April 1, 1964 - April 1, 2025)

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The officials, editors, reporters, and retired employees together reviewed the glorious tradition of the Party newspaper over the past 61 years.

On April 1, 1964, Cao Bang Newspaper published its first issue. This was an important event continuing the tradition of Cao Bang revolutionary journalism, the first foundation of which was the Red Flag Newspaper (1932), the Liberation Bell (1936), Labor (1937), Vietnam Independence (1941) and Cao Bang News (1956).

With the attention and timely direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and the coordination of agencies, departments and branches in the province; promoting the tradition of previous generations, the consensus, dynamism and creativity in management and operation of the Editorial Board, the staff and reporters of Cao Bang Newspaper are always united and strive to build the Newspaper to develop more and more firmly.

Over the years, Cao Bang Newspaper has always closely followed the Party's propaganda orientation and the local political tasks in each period; focused on informing and propagating Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; widely informing political activities, outstanding current events, and key programs of the province; actively reflecting the work of Party building and political system building; propagating the results of activities of all levels, sectors, localities, agencies and units in the province, making efforts to bring the Party's resolutions into life. At the same time, it deeply reflects the thoughts, feelings and aspirations of the people, worthy of being the mouthpiece of the Provincial Party Committee, the voice of the provincial government, the bridge between the Party and the people, and a trusted forum for the people of all ethnic groups in Cao Bang.

Cao Bang Newspaper leaders presented gifts to retired and former staff of the Newspaper through the periods.

At the meeting, the staff, editors, reporters, and retired staff expressed their excitement at attending the traditional meeting; acknowledging that the newspaper's publications have developed, innovated, become more attractive, provide timely and responsive information, and serve many readers on many different platforms. They hope that the generations of Cao Bang Newspaper will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, daring to think, daring to do, and professionalism, to bring the newspaper to continue to reap new successes.

We sincerely thank the sentiments, enthusiasm and acceptance of the opinions and contributions of retired staff. The Editorial Board and the staff and reporters continue to innovate and build the newspaper to develop more and more; at the same time, we wish the retired staff good health and continue to contribute to the development of Cao Bang Newspaper.
