Strengthening the connection between schools and businesses
Developing human resources to adapt to the 4.0 Revolution is one of the important contents mentioned in the national action program to proactively participate in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Specifically in the field of information technology, business assessment is taken as a measure for the training quality of higher education institutions, in addition, there are incentive and preferential mechanisms for organizations, individuals, and technology enterprises directly participating in the education and training process...
According to a study conducted in Australia by SpringerLink that aimed to assess the relationship between student learning experiences and employment opportunities after graduation, more than 70% of students who participated in internship programs at businesses were able to find jobs faster after graduation; about 65% of students found that practical activities, linked to businesses, helped them develop the skills necessary for work.
Participating in activities linked with businesses helps students get closer to reality when entering the labor market.
This shows the importance of the connection between businesses and schools, because not only do students have more favorable conditions to experience real work, but it also creates a solid foundation for young employees to quickly integrate into the labor market. Moreover, the learning content is closer to the reality of work, so the quality of human resources is significantly improved, in line with the recruitment needs of businesses.
