The workshop is part of the 20th scientific event series “Rencontres du Vietnam” with nearly 40 events. The Rencontres du Vietnam Scientific Association is a non-governmental organization operating in the field of science and education, founded in France in 1993 by Professor Tran Thanh Van and has become an official partner of UNESCO since 2012. The International Workshop on “Soft Materials, Fluids and Interfacial Surfaces” provides an academic forum for scientists to present, participate in exchanges and discuss the latest discoveries in the field of soft materials, fluids and interfacial surfaces.

With 80 papers presented in plenary and parallel sessions, the conference focused on discussing recent advances through key topics such as: active matter, biological matter, living matter; self-assembly; granular materials; multiphase and complex flows; interfaces; surface modification of micro and nano materials.
