Nearly 6,000 athletes participate in the Hung Temple Spirituality Marathon 2024

As the first official marathon held in Phu Tho, Hung Temple Spirituality Marathon 2024 was organized by Coffeerary Events under Bella Nota Company Limited (Ho Chi Minh City) in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province from April 5 to April 7, gathering nearly 6,000 domestic and foreign athletes, of which 1,092 athletes from Phu Tho province, accounting for 18.8%.

In addition to domestic athletes, the race also attracted 13 international athletes from France, China, Korea, Japan, and the US to join in exploring and conquering the wonderful routes of the sacred Ancestral Land.

With the theme “Returning to the source”, Hung Temple Spirituality Marathon 2024 not only gives athletes the opportunity to conquer a new route but also brings spiritual connection with a sense of pride in Vietnam’s traditions and history. Participating in the race, athletes have the opportunity to offer incense to commemorate the merits of their ancestors and origins; explore the architectural items in the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site and walk amidst romantic and charming nature; admire the unique landscapes of Viet Tri city as well as blend in with the simple and close life of the local people.

Being the first marathon held in the Land of the Hung Kings, Hung Temple Spirituality Marathon 2024 includes the advanced system (applied to marathon distance) and the grassroots system (at distances: 5km, 10km, Half marathon, Full marathon). In which, the advanced system includes athletes of the Vietnamese national team and athletes currently under the management of provinces, cities and sectors nationwide. Especially, there is the participation of prominent faces in the Vietnamese running community such as: Hoang Nguyen Thanh, Do Quoc Luat, Nguyen Thi Oanh, Doan Ngoc Hai, Pham Thi Hong Le, Nguyen Thi Tra Giang, Trinh Quoc Luong and athletes of the National Athletics team such as: Luong Duc Phuoc, Le Van Thao, Nguyen Hoang Thinh...

Beautiful routes of Hung Temple Spirituality Marathon 2024

As planned, the Hung Temple Spirituality Marathon 2024 will take place from April 5-7.

Not only limited to sports activities, accompanying One Book One Coffee, the Hung Temple Spirituality Marathon 2024 will carry out a book donation program to remote children in Thanh Son district, Phu Tho province.

Members of the Phu Tho Province amateur running club (Runners 19) actively responded to the race.
