Nearly 400 books donated at the Launching Ceremony in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in Yen Bai province in 2025

The Yen Bai Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025 was widely launched to schools targeting primary and secondary school students; high school students and university students.

Participating in the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest, each contestant from Yen Bai College can submit an entry presented in Vietnamese in one of two forms: Writing an article with a length of no more than 5,000 words or making a video of at least 5 minutes, maximum 10 minutes, suitable for posting on YouTube. Contestants submit their entries directly to the school. Before April 30, 2025, Yen Bai College will coordinate with Yen Bai Vocational College to select the 2 best entries to send to the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Contest.

At the Ceremony, Yen Bai College also launched a book donation campaign in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025. The program received nearly 400 books from groups and individuals inside and outside the school such as: Provincial Library, Division 355, Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union, departments and classes of the school... The books have rich and diverse content including reference books, life skills books, children's stories, literature books, specialized books, foreign language books and many other valuable books. The book donation program took place from April 14 to April 28, 2025.

This is a meaningful and practical activity to arouse and spread the passion for reading; encourage and promote the reading movement in schools and communities to form habits and improve reading skills for students.
