On the morning of June 4, in Vung Tau City, the General Department of Sports and Physical Training (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province to organize the opening ceremony of the 5th National Kurash Championship - 2023.

The tournament attracted nearly 300 athletes from 20 delegations from provinces and cities with strong kurash movements across the country. During the 3-day tournament, athletes competed in 19 weight categories, competing for 19 sets of medals. According to the Organizing Committee, the 5th National Kurash Championship - 2023 is assessed to have high professional quality with the participation of many athletes with a long history of achievements.
