Nearly 300 thousand candidates registered for the high school graduation exam in the first session.

Quick information about the official registration session for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, the Ministry of Education and Training said that as of 5:00 p.m. on April 21, 285,631 candidates had registered.

Of these, 12th grade candidates studying the 2018 General Education Program are 277,360 candidates, accounting for 97.1%.

The number of independent candidates registered was 8,271 candidates, accounting for 2.9%. Independent candidates, according to the 2018 General Education Program, were 3,911 candidates, accounting for 1.37% and candidates according to the 2006 General Education Program were 4,360 candidates, accounting for 1.53%.

To participate in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam and be considered for high school graduation recognition, both 12th graders and independent candidates must register online on the Ministry of Education and Training's Exam Management System. The registration period is from April 21 to April 28.

In the previous test registration period, nearly 1 million candidates nationwide registered.
