In the first quarter of 2024, Lao Cai Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch has excellently completed its assigned tasks, ensuring the entire branch operates safely and effectively.
Specifically, total credit capital as of March 31, 2024 reached nearly VND 4,512 billion, an increase of more than VND 106.6 billion compared to 2023.

Loan turnover in the first 3 months of 2024 reached nearly 410.4 billion VND, focusing on loan programs: job creation (nearly 92 billion VND), poor households (nearly 93 billion VND), near-poor households (over 50 billion VND), newly escaped poverty households (over 24 billion VND), production and business households in difficult areas (over 93 billion VND); Resolution No. 06/2019/NQ-HDND (nearly 29 billion VND),...
Total outstanding debt as of March 31, 2024 reached more than VND 4,502 billion, an increase of more than VND 105 billion compared to December 31, 2023. Credit quality has been improved, overdue debt is VND 2.5 billion, accounting for 0.05% of total outstanding debt, a decrease of VND 464 million compared to December 31, 2023.

The effectiveness of social policy credit capital in the first 3 months of the year was promoted, helping 3,289 poor households and other policy beneficiaries access capital.
Of which, 617 poor households, 301 near-poor households and 160 newly escaped poverty households were able to borrow capital for economic development; support loans for production and business establishments, create jobs for 776 workers and create conditions for 2 workers to work abroad for a limited period; help 10 households borrow capital to cover tuition fees for students; 633 households in difficult areas were able to borrow capital to invest in production and business; 717 households borrowed capital to build new, renovate and repair clean water and environmental sanitation works in rural areas; 65 households in communes with a poverty rate of 40% or more were able to borrow capital according to Resolution 06/2019 and 5 customers borrowed capital to build, renovate houses, and buy houses according to Decree No. 100/2015/ND-CP of the Government.
