Tourism activities in Binh Thuan province continued to be stable after the New Year holiday. In the first quarter of 2024, the number of tourists visiting for leisure and relaxation increased by 6.41% compared to the same period last year, estimated at nearly 2.2 million visitors, including nearly 122,000 international visitors.

According to the Provincial Statistics Department, the number of tourists in March is estimated at approximately 711,000 (a 3.5% increase compared to the same period last year), of which the number of international tourists is estimated at 34,200 (a 37.6% increase compared to the same period last year); revenue from tourism activities in March is estimated at nearly 1,873 billion VND. Cumulative tourism revenue in the first quarter of 2024 is estimated at 5,701.5 billion VND (a 6.2% increase compared to the same period last year).

Continuing to maintain its growth rate in April and the second quarter, aiming for a target of 9.5 million visitors this year, in addition to organizing vibrant and attractive activities to celebrate major holidays (April 19th, April 30th and May 1st, Hung Vuong Ancestor Commemoration Day...), in the coming time, Binh Thuan's tourism industry will also continuously introduce and promote tourism products, promotional programs, and the image of Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan as a destination to tourists participating in the Southern Traditional Cake Festival 2024 in Can Tho, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2024, the International Tourism Fair in South Korea...
