The festival gathered nearly 200 students from primary and secondary schools in the district to participate, with two competitions including book promotion and introduction and book illustration.

With an inspiring voice and confident presentation, many students brought vivid introductions to historical works, children's stories, good examples of learning, and pages praising their homeland and country.

At the same time, the activity of drawing pictures from books became a highlight with hundreds of colorful pictures, reflecting the rich worldview and optimistic spirit of the children through the lens of books.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Mr. Dang Huu Phuc - Vice Chairman of Duy Xuyen District People's Committee emphasized: "Reading is the shortest way to knowledge and personality development. This festival is not only a creative playground for children but also a starting point for schools, libraries, and local cultural centers to pay more attention to building a sustainable and friendly reading environment for students.

In the coming time, the locality will increase investment in classroom bookcase models, reading clubs, and develop a reading culture network in schools and communities.
