Speaking at the consultation session, teacher Dang Thi Tach - former Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, former Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, currently Vice Chairman of the Ha Dong High School Council - emphasized the importance of choosing a career that suits your ability, passion and actual circumstances.

“All parents want their children to have a bright future, so they often orient their children towards careers that are considered ‘stable’ and ‘promising’. However, the children are the ones who learn, live and are attached to the profession. Therefore, they need to be the ones to make the final decision – to choose the right one for their abilities and passion,” Ms. Dang Thi Tach shared.

She also recommends that parents accompany their children throughout their journey to adulthood, listening to their thoughts and aspirations instead of imposing. “Career guidance is not something that can be done in an hour or a day. It is a process of accompanying each young person, so that they can understand themselves and find the most suitable path,” she added.

Along with the open dialogue, the program also featured representatives from prestigious universities. Here, students were updated with the latest information on the 2025 enrollment plan, including important timelines, admission methods, changes in regulations and scholarship opportunities. Experts also directly answered all questions from students related to choosing a school, choosing a major and career orientation after graduation.

The on-site admissions consultation area also attracted a lot of attention, when universities and colleges introduced specific training programs, tuition fees, quotas and student support policies. This is an opportunity for students to have a more comprehensive and realistic view, thereby making the right choice for the future turning point.

Sharing about the significance of the program, journalist Ngo Vuong Tuan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper - said: "As the mouthpiece of the capital's youth, we always accompany the youth, not only through newspapers but also through practical activities such as career guidance and startups. Career guidance is not simply choosing a major, but determining a path to establish a long-term career."

“Every decision today is the foundation for tomorrow. We hope that after the program, each student will have more motivation, knowledge and confidence to walk on a path that suits their abilities and dreams,” emphasized journalist Ngo Vuong Tuan.

In the coming time, Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper will continue to closely coordinate with educational institutions and universities and colleges to implement a series of career counseling and orientation programs for high school students in Hanoi. The programs will be designed to be lively and close, focusing on equipping students with admission knowledge, skills in choosing majors, choosing schools and future career trends, helping students have more basis to make the most suitable choices for themselves.

In particular, in April, the series of programs will continue to be held at high schools in Thanh Tri and Dan Phuong districts - where many 12th grade students are entering the important stage of preparing for the high school graduation exam and university entrance exam.

Through in-depth consulting activities and direct interactions with experts and recruiters, students will have the opportunity to see more clearly the career picture in the context of changing society, thereby becoming more confident in establishing themselves and their careers.

With the passion to accompany the young generation, Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper hopes that the series of programs will not only stop at providing information, but also become a bridge of inspiration, helping students confidently write their future journey in their own way.
