Nearly 12,000 people participate in the Industry and Trade Industry Competition

According to the Organizing Committee, at the end of the 4th phase, as of December 31, after 4 months of implementation, nearly 12,000 people responded to the Contest to Learn about the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector.

Statistics from the Organizing Committee of the 4th Competition to Learn about the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector (December) attracted the participation of many units in the entire Industry and Trade sector.

At the end of the 4th online contest, as of December 31, more than 1,000 members both inside and outside the Industry and Trade sector participated. Thus, after 4 months of implementation, the contest has received the participation of nearly 12,000 people. This is one of the successes and effectiveness of the contest in spreading the good traditional values ​​of the Industry and Trade sector.

Previously, in order for the contest to receive the response and active participation of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in agencies and units under the Industry and Trade sector, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade launched a movement to agencies and units under the sector to respond and participate in the contest.

At the end of phase 4, as of December 31, after 4 months of implementation, nearly 12,000 people responded to the Contest to Learn about the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector.

Promoting the pioneering spirit of the contest, the Organizing Committee has recognized the active and leading participation of corporations and groups such as Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, Vietnam Electricity Group... with a series of member units in the corporations actively participating.

In addition, the contest also received positive response from many Departments of Industry and Trade in localities nationwide.

In particular, the block of universities, colleges... across the provinces and cities in the Industry and Trade sector also took the initiative. Typical examples include: Red Star University, College of Food Industry,... In particular, University of Economics and Industrial Technology is still the pioneer of the school block through 4 exam rounds.

Previously, on August 13, 2024, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Plan No. 23-KH/BCSĐ on organizing the Competition to Learn about the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector. This is one of the most important activities of the Ministry of Industry and Trade towards the 75th anniversary of the Industry and Trade Sector Tradition Day (May 14, 1951 - May 14, 2026).

On August 14, 2024, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held a launching ceremony for the Competition to Learn about the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector. The competition aims to honor traditional values, promote the position and stature of the Industry and Trade sector in the process of formation, construction and development since its inception; contribute to educating traditions, arousing the pride of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Industry and Trade sector.

At the same time, the contest also helps raise public awareness of the role and importance of the Industry and Trade sector to the country's socio-economic development; raise awareness of the whole society about the activities of the Industry and Trade sector, thereby gaining social consensus and people's attention for the development of the Industry and Trade sector; encourage creativity and participation of all classes of people in learning and contributing to the development of the Industry and Trade sector.

The contest will be launched from August 15, 2024 to February 3, 2025 in 2 forms: Online contest (including 5 rounds, 1 round per month) and through works.
