With 4 teams and 16 female prisoners, they went through 4 rounds of competition, including: Self-introduction (the outstanding features of the team and each member in the form of: singing, rhymes, skits...); warm-up (10 knowledge questions); overcoming obstacles (each team sings 2 songs about homeland, country, people, libraries, books) and finishing (each team sends a representative to present solutions to develop the reading movement in the community) along with content about general knowledge about Vietnam Book Day and reading culture; famous quotes about books, libraries; history, about homeland, country, An Giang locality (questions, images, documentaries on the topic of the Competition and historical knowledge of the country, locality).

This is a meaningful activity, honoring the value of books, affirming the role, position and importance of books in social life; a political activity, honoring and arousing the traditional historical values ​​of national pride, affirming the great contribution of An Giang people in the historical process. From there, it arouses the strong aspiration of each individual to rise up, continue to strive constantly, determined to overcome difficulties, build and develop An Giang to become more civilized and prosperous.

At the end of the competition, the judges awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize and 2 third prizes to the participating teams.
