Nearly 1.3 billion VND to support startups and livelihoods for Tay Giang women

In recent years, Project 939 has been widely deployed in the district with many practical models and activities. Notably, the campaign "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean" is associated with environmental protection and new rural construction. The Association has built 31 incinerators in villages and schools; launched the planting of 2,900 trees and fruit trees.

The association at all levels effectively maintained many models of learning and following Uncle Ho's example, attracting 3,045 members to participate. Through that, the association mobilized members to save more than 950 million VND and 2,690 jars of rice to support more than 1,030 member households in difficult circumstances.

Tay Giang District Women's Union promotes propaganda, connects product consumption, supports members to access preferential capital from the Social Policy Bank... contributing to increasing income and improving the lives of women in mountainous areas.

To date, the association has supported women with creative startup ideas, business startups and livelihoods with a total budget of nearly 1.3 billion VND. Members have supported each other in economic development with a total converted value of more than 223 million VND.
