As the first team to be eliminated from MSI 2023, GAM's departure from the tournament left fans extremely disappointed. With the underperforming displays of most of the team's players, GAM officially parted ways with Sty1e before the upcoming summer season.

Sty1e joined GAM at the end of 2020 during a period when the team was rebuilding its roster. Despite facing numerous difficulties since joining, the Finals MVP of the VCS Spring 2022 season has continuously strived to prove himself, and the achievements Sty1e has received are entirely well-deserved.
Sty1e is the most successful marksman at GAM, having won 4 VCS championships and a gold medal in League of Legends at the 31st SEA Games in over two years of competition.
However, when the VCS Dawn tournament began, the strategy shifted to "one marksman, four support," with the entire team focusing on the marksman as the main damage dealer in the late game. Sty1e struggled in the laning phase compared to most of his teammates on the opposing team. Without the support of a top laner, GAM would likely have struggled to defend their third consecutive VCS championship title.
In the international arena, Sty1e's weaknesses were once again exploited by opponents. While the top lane was unstable, the bottom lane presented an unsolvable problem for GAM. As a result, GAM exited MSI, leaving fans with a big question: Is the VCS weakening, or are other regions getting stronger?

The departure of Sty1e has made it difficult for GAM to recruit a higher-quality marksman. There are rumors that GAM contacted SGB to secure Shogun's signature, but the exorbitant transfer fee has almost brought the negotiations to a halt. With Levi already on the roster, GAM's salary cap is likely insufficient to spend heavily in the transfer market. To improve their international performance, GAM must invest heavily in the marksman position, firstly to defend their VCS Summer Championship title and secondly to qualify for the World Championship in South Korea.
