GAC GS8 in Vietnam drops more than 160 million, dragging sluggish sales

With the GAC M8, the company gives 20 million VND in cash, 1 year of physical insurance or cash conversion for the 2.0T GL Master version. Meanwhile, customers who buy the M8 2.0T GT Master version are given 1 year of physical insurance or cash conversion.

The highest-end 2.0T GX Master version is given Ice Cool heat-insulating film worth 19 million VND by the company. In addition, all 3 GAC models are also covered by a 7-year or 150,000 km warranty policy, whichever comes first. In addition, there is a free 24/7 rescue service policy and free maintenance labor for 7 years.

With the above incentives, the GAC GS8 SUV model is the most deeply promoted in the D-class SUV segment in Vietnam. In addition to this Chinese car model, Kia Sorento is currently being discounted from 10 - 110 million VND, depending on the version. Meanwhile, Hyundai Santa Fe also has a genuine promotion program in April 2025.

Launched in the Vietnamese market at the end of 2024, the GAC GS8 is an SUV with a quite eye-catching design with a large V-shaped chrome grille, "Eyes of the Conqueror" headlight system, 19-inch or 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and taillights inspired by the design of the sea bridge.

This is also the engine used for the MPV model of the same brand GAC M8. The engine goes with an 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
