The driver murdered two people and then committed suicide.

On the afternoon of June 23, Dong Nai Province Police said that the unit is coordinating with relevant agencies to investigate and clarify the case of a driver who crashed into two people, killing one, seriously injuring another, and then committing suicide.

The victims were identified as Mr. NCĐ (63 years old, owner of the D.H. bus station), Ms. PTH (32 years old, daughter-in-law of Mr. D., both residing in Hamlet 2, Hieu Liem Commune, Vinh Cuu District) and Ms. NTQ (43 years old, residing in Tan Phong Ward, Bien Hoa City).

Previously, at around 8:40 a.m. on June 23, Bui Van Phu Hiep (35 years old, residing in Dinh Quan district, Dong Nai) rode a motorbike to the house of Nguyen Cong Dat (residing in Hieu Liem commune, Vinh Cuu). There, Hiep used a knife to attack Mr. D. (Dat's father) and Ms. H. (Dat's wife), causing the two victims to die.

After committing the crime, Hiep continued riding his motorbike to another garage in Ward 8 (Ho Nai Ward, Bien Hoa City). There, Hiep entered Ms. Q's room to borrow her phone and suddenly attacked her with a knife. Afterwards, Ms. Q was taken to the emergency room by local people in critical condition.

After stabbing three people, Hiep used a knife to stab himself with the intention of committing suicide but was discovered by people and taken to the emergency room.

Upon receiving the news, Vinh Cuu District Police and Bien Hoa City Police coordinated with Dong Nai Province Police to go to the scene to examine and investigate the cause of the incident.

According to initial information, Hiep lived with Dat’s family and worked as a driver for D.H. bus company. About a week ago, Dat fired Hiep. Hiep moved to another place to live. After that, Hiep returned to commit the crime.
