Commenting on the opponents in Group B of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship, Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said that Vietnam's group includes Iran, the team that is considered to have the highest chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals. The coaching staff also has plans and playing styles to counter Iran and will play their best against Iran. "The two teams Hong Kong and the Philippines are on par with each other. We will have a chance to win. The team sets the goal of first passing the group stage before calculating to have a plan and playing style to go as far as possible and win a place at the upcoming World Cup," said the coach of the Vietnamese women's futsal team.

Preparation for the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship

On April 21, the Vietnamese women's futsal team left for Japan for training in the final stage of preparation for the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship. Regarding the training trip to the land of cherry blossoms, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said the team will play a friendly match with FC Fugador Sumiga Ladies on April 23, before competing with the Japanese women's futsal team on April 25.

“The two friendly matches in this training session are an opportunity for the coaching staff to verify the preparation process of the Vietnamese women's futsal team. We have made changes in playing style as well as tactics. From these two friendly matches, the coaching staff hopes that the players will get into the rhythm and operate the game well when facing strong opponents, playing at a higher intensity. After this training session, the list will be finalized to 14 athletes to participate in the final round,” said coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang.

After finishing their training in Japan, the Vietnamese women's futsal team will go to Hohhot (China) on May 1. Here, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team will have a final friendly match with the Chinese women's futsal team (on May 3) before officially entering the tournament.
