FPT showcases outstanding AI and semiconductor ecosystem 'Made by FPT'

Within the framework of Vietnam Innovation Day 2024, FPT displayed its artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductor ecosystems - two strategic technologies that the Group is pursuing.

This platform was also honored as the AI ​​platform for the future of digital enterprises. FPT.AI was honored to receive the honorary cup directly from Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Surpassing more than 750 solutions from 20 countries, FPT.AI scored excellently with the Expert Council thanks to its positive contributions to the business community through AI application products Made by Vietnam. Although Vietnam is behind, it has advantages in politics - geography, strategy and government support policies, foreign investment opportunities such as the US Chips Act and most of all, young resources, good at STEM. This is an opportunity for Vietnam - the next "chopsticks-using" country to rise up to catch the wave after semiconductor powerhouses such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan... However, to develop human resources in the industry, there are still challenges such as: shortage of specialized engineers, unsatisfactory training programs, lack of highly qualified lecturers...

Accordingly, Mr. Hoa proposed a strategy for developing semiconductor human resources, which is to proactively train technology and language so that young people can quickly work after graduation, meeting customer and international standards. AI and semiconductors will be the door for young Vietnamese people to turn their country into a developed nation," Mr. Hoa emphasized.
