FPT establishes FPT Smart Cloud Japan.

On December 5th,FPT Group announced the establishment of FPT Smart Cloud Japan Co., Ltd., headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The company was founded to develop an ecosystem of products and solutions applying AI and Cloud technologies to serve customers in the Japanese and Asian markets.

The establishment of a company specializing in AI and Cloud services in Japan is a crucial step in realizing FPT's long-term strategic plan, following the launch of FPT AI Factory in Japan in November.

According to an IDC report, Japan's AI market is expected to reach $5.9 billion in 2024, a growth of 31.2%. This presents a vast opportunity for FPT's new company to collaborate with organizations in Japan to access and apply advanced technology. FPT aims to develop AI autonomously and realize a shared vision of making Japan an AI nation. Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Group, affirmed: “Artificial intelligence will change the world. We are working closely with strategic partners to develop essential cloud infrastructure for AI applications worldwide, especially in Japan, following NVIDIA's global initiative. The establishment of a specialized AI and Cloud company in Japan demonstrates FPT's commitment to dedicating resources to support the Japanese government, businesses, and partners in realizing the shared vision of Japan and Vietnam becoming AI nations.” In Japan, FPT's FPT AI Factory provides businesses with high-performance computing infrastructure with flexible security and scalability, along with the necessary applications, to develop and bring groundbreaking AI solutions to market in a short time.

FPT AI Factory offers three main product groups: FPT AI Infrastructure, providing GPU cloud services with top-tier supercomputing capabilities to accelerate the construction and deployment of large-scale AI models; the FPT AI Studio platform, offering intelligent tools for building, training, and fine-tuning AI models using NVIDIA NeMo; and FPT AI Inference, in conjunction with NVIDIA NIM and NVIDIA AI Blueprints, enabling the efficient deployment and scaling of these models in terms of size and number of users. As the first Vietnamese IT company to establish a company in Japan, since 2005, FPT has contributed to paving the way for other Vietnamese IT companies to enter this market and has built sustainable relationships with organizations, associations, and businesses in Japan.
