FPT opens a branch in Dalian, China.

FPT has just announced the establishment of its Dalian branch (Liaoning Province, China) to provide high-quality information technology services to customers in Japan and China.

FPT stated that opening a branch in Dalian helps it access and recruit a large pool of skilled technology professionals who are proficient in English and Japanese and have received professional training there.

"The branch is expected to recruit 2,000-3,000 technology engineers within the next 3-5 years, focusing on high-quality technology engineers in project management and strategic consulting," according to Mr. Pham Thanh Tuan, Director of FPT Dalian.

It is estimated that the number of IT professionals proficient in Japanese in Dalian reaches 200,000. Initially, FPT Dalian will focus on customers in Japan. At the same time, the new branch will expand new business development opportunities, not only with Chinese businesses but also with thousands of Japanese businesses operating in Dalian.

According to Ms. Chu Thi Thanh Ha, Chairwoman of FPT Software - a subsidiary of FPT, FPT Dalian not only helps the company to collaborate more closely with businesses in the region but also represents a commitment to the governments of China, Japan, and Vietnam.
