The 2nd Hanoi Autumn Festival 2024 took place from September 19-22 at the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street and attracted more than 50,000 people and tourists. During the program, the Organizing Committee also organized a donation to support people affected by natural disasters and floods with a total amount of 288 million VND.
On the afternoon of September 22, the 2nd Hanoi Autumn Festival closed, leaving many impressions on the people and tourists despite the festival's scale being adjusted due to rain and flood. This is an activity in a series of activities of Hanoi city to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
According to Mr. Nguyen Tran Quang, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, during the 3 days of operation, despite the unfavorable weather at times, the festival had over 50,000 visitors coming to visit and experience.

Also according to the Festival, 12 provinces and cities nationwide; 17 districts, towns in the capital; associations, clubs, tourism and travel businesses sent delegations to participate with many rich and unique contents, such as: models, experience spaces and performance activities, and skills demonstrations of artisans from craft villages.
The booths organize many meaningful activities such as: Writing letters to children in the highlands, minigames of guessing the place name by looking at the picture. In this space, there are 15 display areas, introducing typical products of 11 artisans and skilled workers from 11 famous craft villages of Hanoi: Bat Trang pottery, Ha Thai lacquerware, Ngu Xa bronze casting, Son Dong handicrafts, Phu Vinh rattan and bamboo, Thiet Ung fine art wood, Lang Vac fans, Thuong Tin embroidery, Chuong village hats, Chau Khe jewelry, Chang Son fans.

Many unique works are valuable, aesthetic and sophisticated, including products that appear for the first time, created specifically to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, such as the works "Kim Vinh Hien", "Hao khi Thang Long" made by artisan Vu Manh Hai, Chau Khe goldsmith village; the relief work "Uncle Ho reading the Declaration of Independence" by artisan Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Ngu Xa bronze casting village; the work "Autumn lotus on driftwood" made by artisan Do Van Cuong; the lotus lamp work made by artisan Nguyen Van Tinh of Phu Vinh rattan and bamboo weaving village.

Visitors can also experience the tea-enjoying space of Hanoians; participate in creating with artisans making bamboo and rattan products, pottery, needle-punching fans and embroidery.
This year, the Organizing Committee has organized an additional fundraising activity to support people affected by natural disasters and floods with the amount of 288 million VND. The Organizing Committee has transferred it to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City.
