More than 50 booths of businesses and pho culinary brands across the three regions of the North, Central and South will participate in the performance, promoting their images and brands within the framework of the 2025 Pho Festival , taking place from April 18-20, at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hanoi .
With the theme "The Quintessence of Vietnamese Pho - Heritage in the Digital Age," the opening ceremony is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. on April 18 with about 150 delegates and guests.
According to information from the organizing committee, businesses and brands are carefully selected and assessed to ensure quality and food hygiene and safety to bring the typical pho dish of Hanoi in particular and the diversity of pho from regions across the country in general.
The program is expected to be a bridge to honor and connect businesses, craft villages, and brands to promote cuisine to the people of the capital, domestic tourists , and international friends.
Pho Festival 2025 will bring a space to introduce the culture and tradition of pho; a space to experience Hanoi's unique cuisine and activities such as talks and art performances.
The organizers hope to introduce to tourists visiting Thang Long Imperial Citadel about Pho Festival 2025 to promote "Pho Hanoi" as a national intangible cultural product, a tourist destination to attract visitors to the program.
The program is organized by Hanoi Convention Center, in coordination with Hanoi Department of Tourism, Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, and Nhan Dan Newspaper as media sponsor.
Previously, the 2024 Pho Festival was held in Nam Dinh province - a locality famous for pho - to honor and preserve a long-standing profession rich in Vietnamese cultural values, aiming to build a dossier and include it in the list of World Intangible Cultural Heritage./.
