During the recent Festival, with many unique cultural activities that are highly connected and widespread, organized in a unique approach with a colorful perspective of regional heritage but also full of the breath of the times, the whole Ninh Binh province truly lived in a vibrant festival atmosphere, joyful with a series of cultural events, heritages full of art and impression.

The 2nd Ninh Binh - Trang An Festival in 2023 is honored and delighted to welcome leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and organizations; leaders of neighboring provinces and cities; embassies of countries and international organizations in Vietnam; delegates, distinguished guests and all people attending.

In the second time Ninh Binh province organized the Festival, cultural and artistic activities had many innovations and creativity, bringing viewers multi-dimensional approaches to the cultural and natural heritages of the nation, aiming to build the Ninh Binh Festival brand to truly become an international brand - a place to connect, gather, honor and spread the cultural values, typical heritages of the nation and humanity, contributing the first steps in the idea of building a cultural industry and a millennium heritage city in Ninh Binh province.

The opening program of the Festival , a unique live performance converging the quintessence of cultural colors and heritage of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu and other regions along the length of the country with a majestic quality combined with the artistic quality of contemporary folklore in the magical space of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex. The program brought many new experiences to the audience with contemporary dance, visual arts, calligraphy, sound, light and unique mapping projection technology, magical music in the sacred space of Khe Coc, telling the story of the pride of the ancient capital, the heroic spirit of Hoa Lu and Vietnamese cultural heritage.

The Southern Cultural Heritage Program recreates and depicts the unique river culture of the Southern region with floating markets, ferries, traditional occupations, and the typical characteristics of the people of the alluvial land "going forward and coming back"..., through the folk music material of Don Ca Tai Tu - an intangible cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO through the performances of famous folk artists and Cai Luong artists of the South.

The Northern - Central Cultural Heritage Program and the Closing Ceremony of the Festival - Welcoming the New Year 2024 is a special night of art on the live stage at Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area. The program uses artistic language combined with modern sound and light, bringing viewers many emotions with traditional art forms of the North and Central regions. The New Year's program with a special organization combining the cultural heritage of the North and South with folk songs combined with modern music performed by famous bands further increases the appeal, preparing to count down to welcome the New Year.

The 2nd Ninh Binh - Trang An Festival in 2023 is the first time Ninh Binh province aims to socialize the organization of the festival. Activities are organized in an open manner, increasing interaction with the community and people, visitors can directly watch and participate in the activities of the Festival. With a positive, proactive, respectful and hospitable spirit, Ninh Binh province has closely coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and agencies, units, and enterprises to organize Festival programs and events that take place safely, uniquely and successfully.

Closing the 2nd Ninh Binh - Trang An Festival in 2023 in a nostalgic and emotional mood, we are proud of the sacred land of the ancient capital with a thousand years of cultural history; proud of our homeland Ninh Binh with its magical and captivating landscapes, where "Who carved the rocks to create Tam Coc/Who opened the stream to create Trang An" . Where the sea gate has fairy mountains with Duc Thuy Son peak reflecting the poetic Van Sang stream. Where Nguyen Trai, when turning here, saw the "unique" beautiful scenery, was inspired by the scene and wrote the immortal poem engraved on the cliff "The sea gate has fairy mountains/Passed by many times/Fairy scenery falls into the mortal world/The water surface floats with lotus flowers/The tower's shadow is shaped like a jade hairpin/The river mirror reflects black hair/Remembering Truong Thieu Bao/The engraved stele is stained with moss"

The lyrics of "Duc Thuy Son" by Uc Trai Nguyen Trai carved on Non Nuoc mountain replaced the closing words of the 2nd Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival in 2023, expressing the aspiration of the children of Ninh Binh to build a millennium heritage city from the heritage left by their ancestors, to build Duc Thuy Son with hundreds of poems carved on the cliffs to become a natural cultural heritage for humanity, so that no one will have to miss this place. Then we will have the next Festivals with the name Ninh Binh-Duc Thuy Son Festival in the future.
