On September 11, in Chi Linh City, Hai Duong, an information conference was held about Chi Linh Festival and Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival with the theme "Convergence of quintessence - Aspiration to shine" taking place for 11 days, from September 24 to October 4, 2023.

Accordingly, the Chi Linh Festival and the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival will be held at Sao Do Square, the National Relic Site of Mau Sinh Temple - Thanh Hoa Temple and the Con Son - Kiep Bac Special National Relic Site.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Kien, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Chi Linh City, said that as a particularly important cultural and tourism festival, the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023 will be organized in a series of events. Through activities, the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023 aims to create new tourism products; introduce and strongly promote socio-economic development achievements, historical - cultural values, beliefs, celebrities, tourist destinations, potentials, distinct and outstanding advantages, development strategies of Chi Linh City and Hai Duong Province; improve the spiritual and cultural life of people and tourists, contributing to the socio-economic development of the city and Hai Duong Province; preserve and promote the cultural heritage values of the nation.
The event was organized with the desire to continue attracting the attention of all levels and sectors in realizing the development aspirations of Chi Linh City and Hai Duong Province according to the Resolution of the 17th Hai Duong Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 23rd Chi Linh City Party Congress.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Kien, the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023 will include 8 programs: Opening ceremony of the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023 with the theme "Quintessence Convergence - Aspiration to Shine"; Full Moon Festival with the theme "Lanterns light up the dreams of Chi Linh - Hai Duong children"; Festival of practicing the worship of the Mother Goddess of the Three Palaces at the National Monument of the Sinh Mother Temple - Thanh Hoa Temple; Displaying and introducing OCOP products, typical handicraft products and exhibition of ornamental plants; Organizing folk games; Organizing a space to experience "Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival" for children; Mass performance and exchange program of folk dance, sports dance "Hello Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023"; Coordinating the organization of activities of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2023.

In particular, the opening ceremony of the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023 will be broadcast live on VTC1 channel - VTC Digital Television Station, rebroadcast on Hai Duong Radio and Television Station, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and some neighboring provinces and cities at 20:10 on September 28 with a special welcoming art program with the theme " Chi Linh - Hai Duong: Convergence of quintessence - Aspiration to shine" which is elaborately and grandly staged.
Under the creativity of General Director Mai Thanh Tung, the art program includes unique songs, new compositions about Chi Linh, Hai Duong, through the participation and performance of Sao Mai Hoang Tung, Minh Quan, Le Anh Dung, Luong Nguyet Anh, Ngoc Ky, Nguyen Thu Thuy, Tien Hung; singers Le Anh, Le Trang...; the performance of the Vietnam Lion and Dragon Dance Federation from 10 provinces and cities... promises to bring attractive performances, expressing the vitality of the land of aspirations.
At the same time, the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023 is also a place for cultural exchange and reunion of Van singing melodies (Chi Linh, Hai Duong), Then singing (Tay ethnic group, Lang Son city, Chi Linh city), Soong Co singing (Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province; Chi Linh city); Quan Ho singing (Bac Ninh city)...
One of the indispensable programs is the 723rd death anniversary of the national hero Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan, which will take place on the evening of September 30. In addition, there will be the opening ceremony of the Autumn Festival, the opening ceremony of the cultural tourism and trade promotion week, the opening ceremony and the granting of the seal of Kiep Bac Temple. The 581st death anniversary of the national hero and world cultural celebrity Nguyen Trai; the ceremony at Nguyen Trai Temple and Tran Nguyen Dan Temple.
Along with provinces such as Quang Ninh, Bac Giang, Hai Duong also promoted propaganda before, during and after the ritual activities to complete the dossier to submit to UNESCO to recognize the Yen Tu, Vinh Nghiem, Con Son - Kiep Bac relic complex as a world heritage.
