The People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province has just approved the Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival Program 2025, including 39 events, cultural, artistic, sports, commercial activities, scientific seminars... taking place from April 10 to June 27.
This is the 11th Sea Festival, held every 2 years since 2003.
This series of activities aims to create a "focus" to attract tourists to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa this summer.
At the Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2025, the most notable events include: a national-scale stone sculpture camp taking place in Nha Trang city from April 10 to May 10; Khanh Hoa hot air balloon festival with the theme "Sea and islands of love seen from the sky" held in early June; Agarwood festival taking place from June 3 to 9; Khanh Hoa provincial trade fair 2025 held at the same time.
Festivals on international culinary arts and culture; bird's nest; Ninh Hoa cuisine; praying for fish; Ao Dai... taking place in June, promise to bring many interesting experiences to tourists when coming to Khanh Hoa during this time.
In addition to the opening ceremony of the Festival taking place on the evening of June 7 and the closing ceremony held on the evening of June 9 at 2/4 Square in Nha Trang city, during this time there will also be activities: Performances of sea sports (paragliding, parasailing, jetski, fly boat...); Nha Trang "street dance" festival; International art program "Come here to the sea"...
A representative of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that so far, 37 international delegations with 190 delegates from 16 countries and territories have confirmed their attendance and participation in some activities of this Sea Festival. Among them, 4 art troupes from Korea, India, the United Arab Emirates, and France will bring special art performances to the Vietnamese public during the official time of the Festival.
On this occasion, there are two beauty pageants including Miss Sea and Island Vietnam 2025 organized by STM Investment Joint Stock Company and Miss Universe Vietnam organized by Saigon Universe Joint Stock Company, taking place in May and June in Nha Trang city, contributing to creating more excitement for the summer tourist season in Khanh Hoa.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuan, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that in the first 3 months of 2025, the province welcomed over 2.5 million tourists to the locality for accommodation, sightseeing and relaxation, including over 1.3 million international tourists. Total revenue from tourists reached over 13,800 billion VND, up 21% over the same period last year.
In addition, Khanh Hoa welcomed 11 international cruise ships, bringing more than 16,000 tourists ashore to visit and experience short tours in Khanh Hoa.
This year, Khanh Hoa tourism industry aims to welcome 11.8 million overnight visitors, including 5.2 million international visitors, 6.6 million domestic visitors, with revenue from tourism activities reaching 60,000 billion VND.
