SJC company fanpage unexpectedly impersonated amid gold price fever

On the afternoon of April 17, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) at 115.5 million VND/tael for buying and 118 million VND/tael for selling, unchanged from the morning. Meanwhile, some other companies such as Mi Hong listed the price of SJC gold bars at 118 million VND/tael for buying and 121 million VND/tael for selling.

In the context of record high gold prices in recent days, SJC Company announced that it has just discovered a fanpage impersonating the company for "bad" purposes.

"There are many other fanpages impersonating SJC, however this is the case where SJC recorded a fake page with a blue tick and a high number of followers, copying all the information, posts, and interactions of SJC.

"SJC does not conduct any transactions via cyberspace. All transactions are only conducted directly at SJC's official transaction locations," the company affirmed.

In response to the impersonation, SJC Company warns customers to absolutely not transfer money or make transactions with fanpages/fakepages impersonating SJC.

Do not provide personal information, bank account to fake or unofficial sites. If there is any doubt, please contact SJC directly to verify the information.
