On June 10, EVN's Board of Members issued a resolution to implement the direction of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister on electricity saving and solutions to ensure electricity supply in the dry season of 2023 and the coming time.
EVN's Board of Members assigned the General Director to direct departments and units to urgently implement the directions of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 517/CD-TTg dated June 6, 2023, Directive No. 20/CT-TTg dated June 8, 2023 of the Prime Minister and Section 3.a of Notice No. 216/TB-VPCP.
Regarding the preparation of reports and accompanying records and documents to serve the work with the specialized inspection team of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the management and supply of electricity of Vietnam Electricity Group, the General Director decides and is responsible for the content of the report and provides records and documents as requested by the inspection team.
According to Decision No. 1377/QD-BCT dated June 8, 2023 of the Minister of Industry and Trade, the specialized inspection team includes leaders of the Electricity Regulatory Authority, the Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority, the Department of Industrial Safety Techniques and Environment, the Legal Department, the Ministry Inspectorate, the Department of Planning and Finance, and the Department of Oil, Gas and Coal.
In Official Dispatch No. 517/CD-TTg dated June 6, 2023 on implementing solutions to ensure electricity supply in the dry season of 2023 and the coming time, the Prime Minister assigned the Minister of Industry and Trade to direct the establishment of a specialized inspection team in accordance with the provisions of law on EVN's electricity management and supply from January 1, 2021 to June 1, 2023.
The Minister of Industry and Trade has requested the Inspection Team to work urgently within 1 month, including holidays.
