Reporting at the meeting, Mr. Do Huu Hoang, Deputy Director of PC Dong Nai, said that from the beginning of 2025 until now, the transmission and distribution grid system in the province has ensured safe, continuous and stable power supply, well meeting the socio -economic development requirements of the province.

Regarding basic construction investment, the company energized and put into operation 2/11 110kV power projects as planned; submitted to the Provincial People's Committee policy documents for 16 110kV projects.

For the 22kV distribution grid, the company completed energizing and putting into operation 4/45 medium-voltage lines, low-voltage lines and transformer stations as planned.

Some difficulties and problems are that only 6/16 projects submitted documents have been granted investment policies by the Provincial People's Committee; many power projects under implementation are stuck with land clearance and planning adjustments; 22kV power grid projects have not yet had their investment portfolios approved.

Regarding the work of ensuring electricity in the dry season, the company has established a Steering Committee to ensure electricity supply to carry out direction and operation. Along with that, the company issued a plan for electricity supply in 2025 and the work of operating electricity supply in the province; developed and issued a plan for electricity supply to respond to cases of imbalance in supply - demand of the electricity system, and shortage of sources. Implemented propaganda work on electricity saving.

At the meeting, the investors of each power project reported on the progress, difficulties and obstacles, and proposed solutions. The relevant departments, branches and localities discussed the matter.

Mr. Cao Quang Quynh, Member of EVN Board of Members, said that Dong Nai is a key locality in terms of electricity use. In 2024, the group has committed to ensuring safe supply for the province as well as the whole country. In 2025, EVN also committed to this goal.

EVN leaders also requested the province to pay attention to and support investors in power source and grid projects in the province. The focus is to quickly resolve problems regarding land, investment policies and support the group in implementing a 1,000 MW solar power project, and support the policy of providing electricity directly to each enterprise in industrial parks.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung said that Dong Nai is currently an industrial capital and a construction site for many large projects. This is a favorable condition to achieve the target of double-digit economic growth as required by the Government .

Energy is an infrastructure that needs to be one step ahead to ensure other infrastructures and attract investment. Provincial leaders require departments, branches and localities to be more active and proactive, working with investors to remove obstacles, especially in terms of land and investment policies so that projects can be implemented and completed on schedule.

For the Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project, the provincial leaders assigned Vinh Cuu District and the Department of Agriculture and Environment to urgently resolve the issue to have the site cleared in May. For the 4 projects to clear capacity for the Nhon Trach Power Plant, Long Thanh District and Nhon Trach District will try to complete the site clearance in April. These are projects that the Government has requested a timeline for the province to complete site clearance.
