Epson's EcoTank L8050 and L18050 allow for borderless photo printing at an optimal cost. Print quality is guaranteed thanks to the use of light cyan and light magenta inks for better color transitions and less noise. In addition, these two models ensure fast printing speeds and meet color accuracy standards by using 6 ink colors instead of 4 like conventional printers. The ICDS feature helps minimize data loss and improve text sharpness.
Compared to previous models, the EcoTank L8050 and L18050 are equipped with integrated ink tanks, featuring a more compact design that is approximately 30% smaller, saving space. These two new models also come with easily replaceable ink cartridges, making maintenance easier, increasing business productivity, and minimizing environmental impact. The non-thermal printing technology provides sustainable economic efficiency and reduces energy consumption.

In addition to high-quality photo printing, the EcoTank L8050 and L18050 also support printing on various media materials such as DVD/CD discs and coated PVC/ID cards, which is especially useful for photo shops or photocopy shops that use third-party trays.
These two "newcomers" are more versatile than their predecessors because they are supported by Epson Smart Panel version 4.3.0, which includes a new feature: printhead cleaning notifications, and assistance and guidance for users to easily perform the cleaning process. At the same time, the Epson Smart Panel interface has been improved to be more user-friendly, enhancing efficiency and convenience.
The launch of the L8050 and L18050 supports Epson's goal of maintaining competitiveness in the imaging market and capturing the demand for multimedia printing. “With a combination of usability and improved photo printing capabilities, these two products, which complement the Epson EcoTank line, are expected to create a new breakthrough in the field of photo printing,” said a representative from Epson Vietnam.
