Maintaining Vietnamese culture and identity in the US

This is one of the very few elementary schools in the entire United States that teaches Vietnamese and English bilingually at the elementary level for students. The school has 470 students, with 23 teachers, including 6 teachers who teach Vietnamese.

Thanks to the School's bilingual program, children here, especially Vietnamese children, can confidently communicate in Vietnamese with their parents and relatives, contributing to effectively maintaining Vietnamese culture and identity in the small Vietnamese community in Oregon through language.
