Railways run more summer trains from Ho Chi Minh City to Central provinces

Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that in addition to the Thong Nhat passenger trains running daily between Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang, the railway will run more passenger trains from Ho Chi Minh City to the Central provinces, serving tourists in the summer of 2024.

Specifically, on the Ho Chi Minh City - Quy Nhon route, from May 29, train SE30 departs from Saigon station at 5:50 p.m. every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, arriving at Quy Nhon station at 8:05 a.m. From May 30, train SE29 departs from Quy Nhon station at 3:30 p.m. every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, arriving at Saigon station at 6:20 a.m.

On the Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang route, in addition to the daily SNT1/SNT2 trains, from May 29, there will be an additional SNT4 train departing from Saigon station at 9:45 p.m. every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, arriving at Nha Trang station at 6:25 a.m. From May 30, the SNT5 train will depart from Nha Trang station at 12:15 p.m. every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, arriving at Saigon station at 9:38 p.m.

Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet route, daily trains SPT1/SPT2. Train SPT2 departs Saigon station at 6:30 am, arrives at Phan Thiet station at 11:05 am. In the opposite direction, train SPT1 departs Phan Thiet station at 1:10 pm, arrives at Saigon station at 5:30 pm.

In particular, on the Nha Trang - Da Nang route, train pair SE42/SE41 will run daily from May 24. Train SE42 departs from Nha Trang station at 7:25 p.m. and arrives at Da Nang station at 7:15 a.m. Train SE41 departs from Da Nang station at 8:05 p.m. and arrives at Nha Trang station at 8:25 a.m.

During the summer, from May 17 to August 18, 2024, the railway will apply many incentive programs and reduce ticket prices. Accordingly, individual union members will receive a 5% discount; groups of union members from 10 to 39 will receive a 7% discount, and groups of 40 or more will receive a 10% discount.

Passengers who buy individual tickets for trains SE3/SE4, SE7/SE8 with a travel distance of 900km or more, SE21/SE22 with a travel distance of 600km or more, SE29/SE30 with a travel distance of 400km or more, SNT1/SNT2 with a travel distance of 300km or more will receive a discount when purchasing many days in advance: 5% discount for 20-39 days in advance; 10% discount for 40 days or more in advance. However, this discount does not apply to 4-berth cabin seats on trains SNT1/SNT2 and SE3.

For SPT1/SPT2 trains, individual passengers who purchase through-trip tickets 10 days or more in advance will receive a 5% discount. However, this does not apply to 4-berth cabins.
