On the second day of the September 2nd holiday , many people expressed their excitement, solemnity, and national pride at Uncle Ho's Mausoleum. Some famous places in Hanoi were also crowded with people from all over the country coming to visit, causing some streets to be "suffocated" because of the crowd jostling to check in and take photos.
According to Lao Dong, at 7:00 a.m. on September 2, 2023, at President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi), many people from all over the country came to visit and sightsee. In front of the gate, many young people come to check in and take souvenir photos in traditional ao dai. Ms. Nguyen Ha Anh (a resident of Hanoi) said: I came here to pay my respects to Uncle Ho, as well as to celebrate the National Day on September 2. The atmosphere was truly sacred. Although it was very crowded and we had to wait in line for a long time to get in, everyone was solemnly waiting to visit Uncle Ho. Hoa Lo Prison relic (Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi) is decorated with flags and flowers to celebrate National Day September 2. Many young people lined up to buy tickets at the gate to visit the monument. Pham My Nhien (12th grade student, Hanoi) said: "I really like studying history. On the occasion of the country's sacred holiday, my friends and I chose Hoa Lo Prison Relic to visit." In addition, Hanoi Flag Tower (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi) is chosen by many families to bring their children to visit during this year's important National Day holiday. According to Lao Dong, although it was already noon, Phan Dinh Phung Street (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi) was still "suffocating" because there were many tourists jostling to check in and take photos on the second day of the holiday. Flower stalls are a priority for tourists to experience. Ms. Pham Hoai Thuong (a resident of Thai Binh) said: "My family and I visited Uncle Ho's Mausoleum early in the morning, then took souvenir photos together on this poetic road. The atmosphere here is very bustling and crowded. After this holiday, my family and I will definitely return to Hanoi as soon as possible."
