There are many difficulties
Following the leadership of the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (GTPMB) of Thai Nguyen province in recent days, we have noted that as the investor, the unit's leaders and staff have always closely followed the construction site, promptly coordinated with local authorities to resolve difficulties and problems to speed up progress, and strived to bring three major projects with a total investment of thousands of billions of VND to the finish line within the year, exceeding the plan by 6 months to a year.

Up to now, although it has entered the second quarter, the unit still faces many difficulties in implementing the construction of the three projects. In addition to many unfavorable weather conditions, the site clearance work has encountered a situation where some households, despite having received compensation and handed over the site, still frequently come to obstruct the construction to request for additional benefits.
In addition, localities with three routes passing through also proposed to add some underpasses for people, reinforce culvert heads, and connect people's lives, thus creating more work, such as Dai Tu district adding compensation for land acquisition for 120 more households, about 3.56 hectares.
Up to now, the project to build the Ring Road V, the section through Thai Nguyen province, has only handed over 28/29.3ha of land; the number of households that have been cleared is 604/634. The project to upgrade and expand the route from Km31, National Highway 3 to the ATK Dinh Hoa National Special Historical Site (President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House) connecting with Tuyen Quang province has also only handed over 23.12/25.647ha of land, there are still dozens of electric poles that have not been moved, causing difficulties for construction work.
Proactively overcome difficulties
The leaders of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Traffic Project Management Board affirmed that the task of completing the projects is urgent. To ensure site clearance, the Board has established working groups on duty 24/7 at the construction site, promptly coordinating with local authorities to actively propagate, explain, and answer related regulations, creating consensus among the people to speed up the site clearance progress. The Board's leaders regularly inspect, urge, and direct contractors to make weekly construction plans, thereby reviewing the progress and taking measures to immediately compensate for delayed construction items according to the plan.
The regional connecting road, connecting Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc will be completed this year.
In addition, the Board also actively coordinated with the Department of Transport of Thai Nguyen province to urge Thai Nguyen Electricity Company and other units to promptly move power lines and public works out of the scope of project implementation.
The Board of Directors directed contractors to concentrate maximum machinery and equipment, divided into 3 shifts, 4 teams to speed up the construction progress of projects. In particular, proactively gather materials, complete construction procedures for commercial concrete stations, asphalt concrete stations, promptly and simultaneously lay pavement when the weather is favorable, ensuring the progress and quality of the packages.
"With high concentration and responsible participation of relevant agencies and units, certainly, the three routes connecting Thai Nguyen to Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang provinces will be basically completed and put into operation this year. When put into use, these projects will contribute to connecting, promoting trade, and contributing to socio-economic development between localities," said Mr. Ninh Trung Kien, Head of Planning and Construction Investment Management Department of Thai Nguyen Provincial Traffic Project Management Board.
In 2024, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board is implementing 7 projects. Of these, 5 projects are under construction and 2 projects are in the investment preparation stage.
