Spring Flower Street - Quiet at Midnight

BTO - Nguyen Tat Thanh Flower Street will officially open (December 26th of the lunar calendar) to serve the people and tourists celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon 2024. This is a busy time for the most anticipated project every Tet holiday. This year, the Lunar New Year Flower Street - Year of the Dragon carries the message expressing the aspirations of the young city: "Convergence and Development".

With an investment of 3.5 billion VND, funded through social mobilization and sponsorships from businesses and donors, the implementing units are Nghia Thanh Media Co., Ltd. and Son Thuy Phat Interior Co., Ltd., working together to create positive cultural and spiritual values, serving the people and tourists to welcome the new year peacefully and happily.

***The color-changing dragon gate will be the highlight of the spring flower street.***

At midnight on December 21st (lunar calendar ) (January 31st), more than 30 workers, technicians, and designers, divided into groups according to different sections of the project, were still diligently working on the Nguyen Tat Thanh flower street. During their rare breaks, the workers were provided with loaves of bread and cans of soft drinks by the project supervisor to continue racing against time. The project has been underway for over two months, and the construction unit has now assembled the dragon gate and the miniature landscapes. However, even during the night, the workers had to work tirelessly to adjust the dragon's body to fit the structure.

And there, sweat dripped onto the construction site, despite the rather cold night weather . Thin t-shirts soaked with perspiration , yet filled with joyful laughter . The lighting segments were also connected, creating a dazzling effect for the flower street. Mr. Quân, one of the people who has been involved with the project for three seasons, maintains a steadfast spirit, accustomed to the pace of work, coordinating and supporting his colleagues according to the design principles of the flower street.

The design and landscaping were overseen by artisan Pham Anh Tuan, who is primarily responsible for the project, along with dozens of workers who are busy day and night completing the Spring Flower Street for the Year of the Dragon 2024. He shared: "For more than two months now, the team has been working the third shift, but thankfully, everyone understands each other and cooperates well, so everything has gone smoothly so far."

Pham Anh Tuan said: " The Spring Flower Street of the Year of the Dragon – 2024, with its many segments, will help bring back old memories for Vietnamese people, reminding them of their homeland and roots no matter where they are. But I'm sure this year's Spring Flower Street will not disappoint anyone. The mascot of this year's flower street will have many surprises for the public and tourists!"
