The project “Electricity line to light up the village” has a total length of more than 2km, with more than 40 solar lights installed from the Ho Chi Minh trail through A Roang 1 and Ka Lo villages to A Min – C9 village, A Roang commune, with a total cost of over 80 million VND.
The head of A Roang 1 village, A Roang commune, emotionally shared: “The villagers are very excited to have a lighting system like today. Before, it was very dangerous to travel at night, children did not dare to go out to play, and people were also afraid to go out. Now that there is electricity, the village seems to have more vitality. On behalf of the villagers of A Roang 1 village, I would like to thank the 92nd National Defense Economic Group for their attention and support so that the villagers have light, bringing joy to the people in the border area.”
Not only adults, but also children in the village are very happy to play under the electric lights. A Viet Thi Phuong, 11 years old, A Roang 1 village is playing jump rope with friends under the newly installed lights, smiling and saying: “Before, at night there were no lights, we had to stay inside, we couldn’t go out to play. Now that there are lights, I’m so happy! My friends and I can play jump rope and shuttlecock after school. With the lights on, we’re not afraid anymore!”
The project has been completed and put into use with practical significance, contributing to ensuring security, order and safety of rural traffic, while improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people in the highlands, especially at night. This is not only the joy of the people of A Roang commune but also a testament to the strength of military-civilian solidarity in building the village to be more prosperous, civilized, safe and brighter.
