Stop operating an unlicensed cosmetic service business in My Tho

On April 14, Tien Giang Provincial Police said they had coordinated with the Department of Health to inspect the beauty service facility "Tham Nguyen Beauty & Academy" at 142 Doan Thi Nghiep Street, which had illegal business activities.

Through inspection, the task force discovered that the facility had many canned products, tubes containing fillers for customers to beautify through injection, along with some boxes of anesthetics and surgical threads to perform eyelid surgery, syringes, disposable needles, etc.

The inspection team drew up a record of the violation and requested the owner of the facility to stop operations.

The owner of the facility, Nguyen Thi Be Tham (born in 1996, residing in Tan Phu commune, Chau Thanh district, Ben Tre province), admitted to operating cosmetic services since January 29, 2025, providing services such as: Cosmetic tattooing, eyelid surgery - coin surgery, Filler - Botox injection and some other beauty services.

At the time of inspection, the facility had not yet registered for business. The owner of the facility did not have a tattoo certificate or other professional certificates or qualifications.

The inspection team drew up a record of the incident and forced the owner of the facility to stop operations and continue to verify and handle it according to legal regulations.
